Bourbon County Judge Mike Williams supports bluegrass station’s use of eminent domain to seize 2,000 acres of bourbon county land

A report submitted in 2022 found that adding an airport to Bluegrass Station was in the best interest of the area.

The legislative budgeting process is currently working to finalize a budget for the project.

According to preliminary reports, as early as summer of 2024 the government will start acquiring properties in the area – extending as far as the Briar Hill and Clintonville intersection

The airport will host 10-20 private planes per day 6 military planes per month.

If residents do not willingly sell their homes, the government will purchase them through eminent domain.
